This curtain was designed on the basis of a scheme published in the issue n. 41 (in 1905) of the magazine La Tenture Francaise (see original sketch).
The acanthus leaves that adorn the pole were specially forged.
The fabric of the curtain is a French Empire style mixed silk damask by Surcanapé.
