Lit Bateau
French Empire style Lit Bateau.
Design Maurizio Spagnoli and Luigi Cipriani.
Lit Bateau has been designed in the French Empire style so as to enhance its shape and its supple lines. It is completely framed by a padded half-round marked by a cord.
The internal structure is similar to that of a platform bed. The boards are in beech and the structure is adjustable. It is mounted onto a frame partly made of beech and fir heartwood and partly made of laminboard.
The upholstery consists of vegetable horsehair and polyurethane foam.
The mattress is in latex whereas the cushions are upholstered with feathers and down. The fabric used as covering of the Lit Bateau shown in the pictures is a mixed linen damask by Cesari.
Size: cm 92 x 250 (bed); cm 85 x 190 x 16 (mattress).
On request, the bed inclination can be altered by means of an electromechanical control device.
